This page explains how to request deletion of data associated with Meta / Facebook connections used by Welcome Loop (His Presence Church / HPCTN). Meta apps require a clear User Data Deletion instruction URL. This page also supports status checks for automated deletion callbacks.
What Welcome Loop stores from Meta
When a church admin connects Meta Ads OAuth, Welcome Loop may store OAuth access tokens, connection metadata (for example connected time and sync notes), and related advertising configuration for that church organization. Welcome Loop does not use Meta as a general public “Facebook Login” for guests; the connection is for authorized staff advertising tools.
How to request deletion
- Church admin (preferred) — Sign in to Welcome Loop → Integrations → Meta, disconnect the Meta connection. That removes stored Meta OAuth tokens for your organisation from Welcome Loop.
- Email request — Send a deletion request to info@hpctn.com with subject “Welcome Loop Meta data deletion”, your name, the email on your Welcome Loop account (if any), and any Facebook / Meta app user id Meta shows you.
- Meta automated callback — If Meta sends a data-deletion callback to our endpoint, we record a confirmation code. You can check status on this page with
?code=YOUR_CODE.
What we delete
- Meta / Facebook OAuth access and refresh tokens stored for the connection
- Meta connection status and OAuth-related config for that link
- Other Meta-derived identifiers we can reasonably associate with the deletion request
Guest/people CRM records, SMS/email logs, and other ministry data that were not obtained from Facebook Login are handled under our Privacy Policy and internal privacy workflow — ask info@hpctn.com if you need those removed as well.
Timing
Manual email requests are typically reviewed within 30 days. Automated Meta callbacks are acknowledged immediately with a confirmation code; completing token removal follows as soon as we can match the request to a stored connection.
